NACPM isn’t working off Friedman’s Curve and a Failure to Progress model! Effacement, dilation, station, working through trauma, reconnecting with a partner, and recommitting - it is true for labor and true for the profession. We invite each of you to consider a special commitment for 2024:
Advance the Profession, pledge $10 for every birth you attend.
While this commitment may seem modest, its collective impact can be profound, contributing significantly to our efforts to advocate for midwifery, advance the profession, and amplify our voice on the national stage.

How Your Pledged Contributions Will Make a Difference:
Advocate for Legislation: We will use these dollars to support initiatives that promote CPM-friendly legislation, which in turn enhances the accessibility and recognition of midwifery care across the United States.
Education and Training: Your support will help us invest in education and training programs that empower CPMs to provide the highest standard of care to their clients. It's an investment in the future of community midwifery.
Public Awareness Campaigns: We will use these funds to spread awareness about the vital role that Certified Professional Midwives play in providing safe, personalized, and community-centered maternity care.
Community Support: The dollars you pledge will go toward supporting community midwifery via our Bigger Table Fund and Tanya Khemet Taiwo Midwifery Scholarship Program

Monthly Pledge: Calculate the average number of births you attend each year and divide it by 12 to determine your monthly pledge. This option provides a steady, manageable contribution throughout the year.
Per-Birth Pledge: Choose to come back each month to pledge $10 for each birth you attend. This option allows you to customize your support based on your monthly experiences.
