Brooke Prudhomme, CPM

“My personal and professional fulcrum is advocacy for joy. Whatever means that are needed to support people in reaching their fullest potential are the means by which I advocate for them. I work for birthing people and on their behalf everywhere I go. Midwifery care is the system that I work in because I know what the difference in outcomes look like with a midwife from a holistic perspective and I know how important it is to support mothers. I want this opportunity to work with bright thinkers on how to safeguard our profession as we move into the next iteration of midwifery in our country.”

Brooke is the mother of three adult/teen boys and her adult step-daughter. She is the founder of OVA Sanctum, a Midwifery Guide and Telehealth service, launching in October of 2024. She is a licensed midwife, certified through the North American Registry of Midwives, facilitating out of hospital midwifery care. She is an elected member of the MAWS board (Midwives Association of Washington), and adjunct faculty at Bastyr University. Brooke has served as the Director of Midwifery for two birth centers, one for profit and one a 501c3. She was a member of the original midwifery team at CHOICES: Memphis Center for Reproductive Health.
