Erin Ryan, CPM, LM, MPH
is a licensed midwife, Certified Professional Midwife and has her masters in public health. She brings her 19 years of clinical experience as a midwife to her public health projects in both domestic and international settings. After Erin spent 2 years as the International Midwife Program Director for Bumi Sehat in Indonesia, she returned to the US feeling more passionate than ever to address health inequities in the US and has focused her efforts on midwifery education. After graduating from UC. Berkeley with a masters in public health, she started working as a director for National Midwifery Institute. Currently she is the Executive Director and looking for ways to increase access to midwifery education. She has worked on projects in Indonesia, Philippines, Uganda, Morocco and Zanzibar. She lives in Vermont with her three sons and one wild cat.
